Registration

1. Open Telegram and find @newslillytest_bot
2. Send /start command
3. Select your preferred interface language (English/Russian)
4. Click "Start Setup" to begin configuration

Setup Wizard

The setup wizard guides you through initial configuration in 5 steps:

Step 1: Channel Selection
- Choose your existing Telegram channel or create a new one
- The bot must be added as administrator to your channel
- Grant posting permissions to the bot

Step 2: Content Sources
- Add Telegram channels, RSS feeds, or websites as content sources
- You can add multiple sources of different types
- Browse recommended sources by category or search for specific topics

Step 3: Keywords
- Define keywords to filter relevant content
- Enter keywords separated by commas (e.g., "technology, AI, startups")
- Use the AI Keywords Helper for automatic keyword generation based on your topic

Step 4: Publishing Schedule
- Select publication frequency (every 20 minutes, twice daily, daily, every 2 days)
- Choose specific publication hours
- Set your timezone
- Filter by days of week if needed

Step 5: Test Publication
- Review your configuration
- Test content sources to see what articles will be published
- Publish test article to verify everything works correctly

First Publication

After completing setup, the bot will automatically:
- Monitor your content sources
- Filter articles by keywords
- Score and rank articles by relevance
- Publish top articles according to your schedule

Content Sources

Telegram Channels

How to add:
1. Go to Settings → Sources → Add Source
2. Select "Telegram Channel"
3. Enter channel username (e.g., @channelname) or link
4. The channel must be public or the bot must have access

Benefits:
- Real-time content updates

- No parsing errors
- Automatic duplicate detection

Limitations:
- Only public channels or channels where bot has access
- Requires valid channel permissions

RSS Feeds

How to add:
1. Go to Settings → Sources → Add Source
2. Select "RSS Feed"
3. Enter RSS feed URL (must end in .xml or .rss)
4. The bot will validate the feed automatically

How to add:
1. Go to Settings → Sources → Add Source
2. Select "Website"
3. Enter website URL
4. The bot will attempt to parse articles from the site

Benefits:
- Works with sites that don't have RSS feeds
- Extracts article text, images, and metadata
- Handles various website structures

Limitations:
- Parsing quality depends on website structure

- Choose specific hours (e.g., 9:00 and 18:00)

- Best for: Digest-style channels
- Free and PRO tiers
- One publication per day

Every 2 Days
- Best for: Low-frequency channels

- Publication every other day
- Ideal for curated content

Timezone Settings

1. Go to Settings → Schedule → Timezone
2. Select your timezone from the list
3. All publication times will be adjusted accordingly
4. Supports UTC offsets and major city timezones

Day Filtering

• Choose specific days of the week for publication
• Skip weekends or specific days
• Useful for business-focused channels
• Combine with hourly schedule for precise control

Keywords and Filtering

How Keywords Work

Keywords determine which articles get published to your channel:

1. Article Collection: Bot fetches articles from all your sources
2. Keyword Matching: Each article is checked for keyword matches
3. Scoring: Articles with more keyword matches score higher
4. Selection: Top-scoring articles are published

Choosing Effective Keywords

Broad Keywords (use sparingly):
- Single common words: "technology", "business", "science"
- Will match many articles but may include irrelevant content
- Useful for very general channels

Specific Keywords (recommended):
- Multi-word phrases: "artificial intelligence", "electric vehicles"
- More precise matching
- Better content relevance

Niche Keywords (best for specialized channels):
- Specific terminology: "quantum computing", "marine biology"
- Industry-specific terms
- Results in highly targeted content

Q: Source returns "403 Forbidden" error
A: Some websites block automated access. Try:
- Using RSS feed instead of website URL
- Finding alternative sources

A: Ensure:
